Huachuma Foundation

Huachuma Foundation is dedicated to protecting the sacred huachuma (San Pedro) cactus and preserving its cultural heritage through hands-on conservation and education. Its work is organized into conservation (habitat restoration and sustainable growing practices), education and collaborative research, and community building. Named projects include the Taray Preservation Garden and the Ayaruna Project restoring a healing center in Pisac, both in Peru's Sacred Valley.
