Honker Ranch Conservancy

Honker Ranch Conservancy conserves and manages the land and water that wildlife depends on in Smith Valley, Nevada, working to protect, enhance, and enlarge wildlife habitat around Artesia Lake. It actively manages wetlands through water resource control and vegetation work, partnering with the state wildlife agency and Ducks Unlimited. The conservancy also runs educational outreach on outdoor recreation and wildlife conservation for Nevada residents, and awards scholarships to local high school graduates.
