Hollow Oak Land Trust

Hollow Oak Land Trust is a nationally accredited land trust protecting green space in the western suburbs of Pittsburgh, working in the Moon, Kennedy, Robinson, North Fayette, and Franklin Park communities. It has protected more than 900 acres through direct ownership and conservation easements with private landowners, including the Montour Woods, Trout Run, Vinegar Hollow, and Fifer's Fields conservation areas. The trust also builds and maintains hiking and biking trails, notably the planned ten mile Montour Woods Greenway loop, and runs volunteer and education events.
