Historic Virginia Land Conservancy

Historic Virginia Land Conservancy is a Williamsburg-based land trust that preserves natural, scenic, agricultural, and historic land across the James, York, Rappahannock, and Chowan River watersheds. It works with landowners on conservation easements and stewardship, and reports more than 15,690 acres permanently protected over 35 years. Protected properties include Mainland Farm, which it describes as America's oldest continuously farmed land.
