Historic Seattle Preservation Fndn

Historic Seattle works to save meaningful places in Seattle and King County, operating as a public development authority created in 1973 alongside a 501(c)(3) preservation foundation. It combines education (design lectures, historic site tours, an annual Preservation Celebration), advocacy and technical assistance for communities and policymakers, and hands-on real estate work acquiring and rehabilitating historic buildings. It currently stewards eight properties, among them Washington Hall, the Good Shepherd Center, the Cadillac Hotel, and Phillips House.
