Hill Country Conservancy Inc

Hill Country Conservancy works to preserve the water, wildlife, and open space of the Texas Hill Country, holding perpetual conservation easements across Travis, Hays, Blanco, Burnet, Llano, and San Saba counties and reporting roughly 40,000 acres protected. It opens land to the public through the Pecan Springs Karst Preserve, a 1,205 acre tract in the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone, and the 35 acre Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve. It also builds the Violet Crown Trail, a regional trail running from Zilker Park in Austin toward the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
