Hermits Peak Watershed Alliance

Hermit's Peak Watershed Alliance is a grassroots nonprofit based in Las Vegas, New Mexico that works to protect and restore the ecological and cultural heritage of watersheds in the Hermit's Peak region through ecological restoration, environmental education and community action. Its work spans four northern New Mexico watersheds: the Gallinas, Tecolote Creek, Sapello and Lower Mora. Active since 2009, it runs restoration projects in the Hermit's Peak and Calf Canyon burn scar, along with youth programming at Gallinas River Park.
