Hello Ocean Science Foundation

Hello Ocean facilitates ocean science and media to empower the public, inform legislation, and inspire change. It runs research-under-sail expeditions for both established and early-career scientists and artists, builds citizen science collaborations across the maritime and recreational boating industries, and produces video, installations, and articles that bring ocean science to new audiences. Its expedition work centers on the coastal and offshore waters of Belize, east of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, where it conducted the first systematic study of cetacean abundance, distribution, and behavior.
