The Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund is a 501(c)(3) that identifies, preserves, and propagates endangered fine flavor heirloom cacao to protect cacao quality and diversity for future generations. It connects farmers, scientists, and chocolate makers, funding genetic and flavor analysis of submitted samples so growers can earn Heirloom Designation, then linking designated farmers to networks and better pricing. The site says it works across 12 countries and has reached more than 3,200 farmers.
