Heart Of The Rockies Initiative

Heart of the Rockies Initiative is a Missoula, Montana partnership of independent land trusts working to keep habitat and working lands connected across the Central Rockies of North America. Its members span Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, northern Utah, eastern Washington, Alberta and British Columbia, and it supports them with capacity assistance, collaborative fundraising, connectivity science and data sharing. Its flagship Keep it Connected program links land trusts with funders backing wildlife connectivity projects, alongside work on rural initiatives, carnivore conflict reduction and the High Divide Collaborative.
