Headwaters at the Comal restores and protects the Comal Springs ecosystem on a 16-acre site at 333 E. Klingemann in New Braunfels, Texas, formerly a paved utility warehouse and fleet yard. The organization runs education programs for children and adults, guided tours and field trips, volunteer days, and research partnerships studying the springs. Its stated aim is to inspire a lifelong practice of enjoying, protecting, and stewarding the cultural and ecological resources of the Texas Hill Country.
