Harmony Coast Aquaculture Institute

Harmony Coast Aquaculture Institute works to promote and support sustainable aquaculture and to develop methods that reduce and ultimately eliminate the carbon footprint and environmental impacts of seafood production. It focuses on innovation, research, conservation, and education in land-based marine aquaculture, including restoring marine species and educating stakeholders. The institute operates an aquaculture facility in Cayucos on California's Central Coast, with a team drawn from Cal Poly and Moss Landing Marine Laboratories.
