Half Moon Lake Conservancy holds a 35-acre conservancy property on Half Moon Lake in Polk County, Wisconsin, north of the lake where Harder Creek runs upstream of it. The property is open to the public via a rustic trailhead on the south side of Dau Road, about three tenths of a mile east of County Road G. The Conservancy's stated purpose is protecting wetlands and critical parcels in the Half Moon Lake watershed so that land use changes do not degrade the lake's water quality.
