Groundwork San Diego Chollas Creek

Groundwork San Diego-Chollas Creek was founded in 2007 at the request of the City of San Diego to lead the master plan for the Chollas Creek watershed, and works at the intersection of social, environmental, and climate justice. Its programs cover youth and community science education through EarthLab, green infrastructure and tree planting, water conservation, parks and trails, and resident leadership development. It serves the 32-square-mile Chollas Creek watershed, running from headwaters in La Mesa and Lemon Grove through City Heights, Oak Park, Encanto, Barrio Logan, and Southcrest to San Diego Bay.
