Greensboro Land Trust

Greensboro Land Trust is a volunteer-run nonprofit land conservation organization founded in 1992 in Greensboro, Vermont. It works to preserve the town's rural character by protecting farms, forests, and wildlife habitat, primarily through conservation easements that limit development while land stays in private ownership. It holds 19 easements of its own and helped bring about 11 more held by partners such as the Vermont Land Trust, and it has been accredited by the Land Trust Alliance since 2009.
