Greenroots Inc

GreenRoots is a resident-led environmental justice organization working in the frontline communities of Chelsea and East Boston, Massachusetts. It runs campaigns and projects on climate resiliency, waterfront revitalization along Chelsea Creek, air quality and health equity, transit justice, energy democracy, and anti-displacement land sovereignty. Its food justice work includes urban gardens, an urban farm, and a teaching kitchen, and it develops youth leadership through community organizing programs.
