Greene Land Trust

Greene Land Trust works to preserve and protect significant natural and related cultural resources in and around Greene County, New York, seeking a balance between sound development and long-term resource protection. It permanently protects land through voluntary agreements with landowners and manages public trails for hiking and snowshoeing across preserves including Potic Creek Preserve, Hannacroix Creek Preserve, and properties along Coxsackie Creek. Its work spans the county from the Catskill Mountains to the Hudson River shoreline, and includes guided walks, nature education, and advocacy for agricultural land preservation.
