Green Shield Network

Green Shield Network, also known as Reseau des Boucliers Verts, describes its purpose as defending, educating, and restoring for a healthy environment. Founded in 2020, it runs tree planting and environmental awareness days in Benin, including reforestation and school outreach in the commune of Ze, and publishes a French-language nature and environment webzine, Le Mag de la Nature, covering topics such as water, plastic bag pollution, and traditional African medicinal plants. Its US branch is based in Danville, Pennsylvania, with a second branch staffed across Benin.
