Green River Coalition

Green River Coalition works with community members, municipalities, and educational partners to protect and enhance the Green River and its watershed in King County, Washington. Its restoration work covers the Middle Green River subwatershed from around River Mile 32 near Auburn east to the Howard Hanson Dam, including project sites at Covington Community Park, the Dandy/Bass/Beaver Lake complex near Enumclaw, and the Lower Soos area. Volunteer crews remove invasive plants, plant native trees, manage trails, and use organic, non chemical weed control.
