Green Mountain Scenic Byway Inc

Green Mountain Scenic Byway, Inc. is the all-volunteer management entity for the Florida state-designated scenic byway of the same name, which runs through Lake and Orange Counties from Mount Dora along the shores of Lake Dora and Lake Apopka to Winter Garden. As the designated managing group it is charged with preserving and improving the intrinsic natural, historical, and cultural resources along the route, including the Green Mountain Scenic Overlook and Trailhead. The organization promotes the corridor for hiking, biking, birding, paddling, and equestrian use, and works with the Florida Department of Transportation, county governments, and trail groups.
