Green Mountain Audubon Society

Green Mountain Audubon Society, now operating as Green Mountain Bird Alliance, has worked in northwestern Vermont since 1962 with a mission to nurture an appreciation of birds and to protect them and their habitats. It maintains birding hotspots, publishes the newsletter The Hermit Thrush, and offers field guides and other birding resources. The group also runs presentations and educational events and awards education grants supporting bird conservation.
