Green Education Foundation

Green Education Foundation is a San Jose based 501(c)(3) that provides education on ecology and conservation, aimed at young people roughly 7 to 16 years old. It runs Neighborhood Donation/Recycling Stations that collect reusable clothing and household goods, then works with recycling partners so the textiles are reused or remanufactured rather than landfilled, reporting about 50 million pounds diverted a year. Proceeds from resale fund schools and green programs, alongside its own age-appropriate green curricula and hands-on student projects.
