Greater Worcester Land Trust Inc

The Greater Worcester Land Trust promotes the protection, stewardship, and appreciation of open space to enhance quality of life and the functioning of natural systems in Worcester, Massachusetts and the surrounding region. Founded in 1987, it conserves land by purchasing it, accepting donated parcels, securing conservation easements, advising landowners on preservation options, and coordinating with local officials. Its holdings and trails span Worcester and neighboring towns including Boylston, Holden, Leicester, Paxton, Spencer, and West Boylston, and it runs largely on volunteers alongside a small staff based on Ash Street in Worcester.
