The Greater Mohican Audubon Society is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of birds and other wildlife through environmental education and the conservation and restoration of habitat. Recognized as a National Audubon Society chapter in 1999, it serves Ashland, Holmes, Richland, and Wayne counties in north central Ohio. It runs field outings for birders of all experience levels and maintains guides to local birding locations.
