Greater Cincinnati Hazardous Material Control Committee Inc

A not-for-profit made up of companies and public agencies along the Ohio River and its tributaries in the Greater Cincinnati region, now operating as the Greater Cincinnati Harbor & Maritime Co-Operative Committee (GCHMCC). Its mission is to provide assistance and resources to members mitigating the impact of pollution releases and to promote maritime security awareness. It develops spill-prevention concern among members, runs joint drills and exercises, maintains three response trailers of spill and clean-up equipment available to members around the clock, and holds monthly training meetings.
