Greater Akron Audubon Society

A National Audubon Society chapter serving the Greater Akron area of Ohio, working toward "opening the eyes of everyone so that they all may come to enjoy the beauty of the outdoor world and to share in conserving its wonders forever." It runs guided bird walks, educational presentations, and community outreach, and organizes bird counts including the Christmas Bird Count and summer census work at sites such as Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Bath Nature Preserve. The chapter also holds an annual bird seed sale and publishes bird identification and conservation resources.
