Great Swamp Watershed Association

The Great Swamp Watershed Association protects the Great Swamp region and the headwaters of the Passaic River in northern New Jersey, and serves as the Passaic River Waterkeeper Alliance affiliate. It monitors water quality and publishes annual Water Quality Report Cards, runs stream assessment training, well and public water testing, and a native plant and rain garden program, and reaches over 3,000 students a year through in-school programming. It is an accredited land trust and stewards a 73-acre Conservation Management Area in Harding Township with 3.5 miles of public trails and boardwalk.
