Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust

Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust conserves land, water, and wildlife habitat in Hancock County, Maine. It owns and manages the Wildlands, roughly 5,000 acres of mountains, woods, and water kept for wildlife habitat, sustainable forestry, and community trails, along with conservation easement properties and the Chapman Farm Preserve. The trust maintains trailheads and public access, runs volunteer stewardship work, and engages with Wabanaki Tribal Nations on land stewardship.
