Great Meadows Conservation Trust

Great Meadows Conservation Trust is a land trust incorporated in 1968 by residents of Wethersfield, Rocky Hill and Glastonbury, Connecticut, to protect and preserve the Great Meadows. It safeguards the floodplain's agricultural, scenic, archeological and wetland resources by acquiring land and negotiating conservation easements with property owners. It also works with community groups and engages local and state government on decisions affecting the meadows.
