Great Meadow Foundation

Great Meadow Foundation is the nonprofit steward of 374 acres of open land in The Plains, Virginia, preserved permanently for community use. Founded by Arthur "Nick" Arundel on land that had been slated for residential development, it describes its purpose as protecting this land and sharing its beauty for generations to come. The property operates as a field events center and equestrian park, hosting the Virginia Gold Cup races, polo, field sports, festivals, and community and STEM programming.
