Grassroots Ecology

Grassroots Ecology is a Palo Alto based nonprofit that engages and educates the public to restore local ecosystems, using volunteer power to increase biodiversity across Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Its programs cover habitat restoration, community science, urban ecology, environmental education, and a native plant nursery. Stewardship sites include Pearson-Arastradero Preserve, Foothills Nature Preserve, and creeks and open spaces in Los Altos, Cupertino, Mountain View, East Palo Alto, San Jose, and other Silicon Valley communities.
