Grassland Bird Trust

Grassland Bird Trust is a 501(c)(3) land trust in Schuylerville, New York, dedicated to "conserving critical habitat for endangered, threatened and rapidly declining grassland birds" in the Washington County grasslands of northern New York. It has conserved 258 acres, 78 of which it owns and manages, protecting short-eared owls, upland sandpipers, meadowlarks and more than 100 other bird and wildlife species. The trust also runs guided walks, birding expeditions and events such as Raptor Fest, and advocates on siting issues including solar development on grassland habitat.
