Granite Lake Watershed Association

Granite Lake Watershed Association works "to protect and improve the quality of Granite Lake in Wright County, Minnesota." Its main effort is aquatic invasive species management, including a multi-year herbicide treatment program targeting curly-leaf pondweed in infested areas of the lake, with follow-up surveys planned to assess how well the treatments worked. The association also carries out water quality monitoring and keeps members involved through newsletters, educational resources and community events such as the annual boat parade.
