Gracie Swan Foundation Inc

Gracie Swan Foundation is a Florida 501(c)(3) public charity, incorporated in January 2014 and based on Longboat Key, whose purpose is to support the care of swans in line with wildlife management principles and Florida's regulations on exotic species. It manages the mute swan population on Longboat Key's Harbourside and Islandside, providing veterinary care, supplemental feeding, equipment and supplies. Because mute swans are not native to Florida, the foundation controls breeding and places cygnets with responsible owners in the Sarasota area rather than letting the birds spread beyond the key.
