Golden Triangle Audubon Society

Golden Triangle Audubon Society is a birding and conservation chapter active across southeastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana, covering Angelina, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange, San Augustine and Tyler counties and neighboring Louisiana parishes. Its focus areas are Cattail Marsh, a constructed wetland with shallow water and mudflats at Tyrrell Park in Beaumont, the chenier ridge oak woods at Sabine Woods, and the coast at Sea Rim State Park. The chapter runs monthly meetings and field trips, conducts bird surveys and bird counts at its sanctuaries, and publishes a newsletter, The Brown Pelican.
