Golden Sands Resource Conservation And Development Council

Golden Sands Resource Conservation and Development Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1972 and based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Its mission is to act as a community resource working across county lines to address large-scale environmental issues in a way that protects both the environment and the economies of its 13-county central Wisconsin service area. Its work is organized around four pillars: clean water, healthy forests, abundant wildlife, and sustainable agriculture, carried out with volunteers, citizen groups, and local, state, and federal agencies.
