Going Coastal Inc

Going Coastal, Inc. is a volunteer 501(c)(3) formed in 2004 that publishes resources helping urban residents find, understand, and protect their local waterfront. It produces guidebooks, maps, and field research covering walking, biking, and paddling routes along New York and Boston shorelines, and runs Coastal Commons, a digital platform for coastal news and community engagement. The organization frames coastal literacy as the foundation of stewardship and treats the coast as a commons.
