Global Land Restoration Fund

The Global Land Restoration Fund provides funding, transaction facilitation, and training to return ancestral lands to Indigenous communities and restore stewardship to community care. It operates a flexible revolving fund, guides real estate acquisitions, and builds capacity among land acquisition practitioners. Active projects include Molokai Ranch in Hawaii, peatland rewilding with Snowchange Cooperative in the Upper Midwest, farmland conservation with the San Diego Food System Alliance, and a land acquisition strategy with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
