Global Forest Generation Inc

Global Forest Generation is an Arlington, Virginia based nonprofit that restores forest ecosystems by combining Indigenous and local knowledge with science, building cross-sector partnerships, and advocating for restoration policy. Its flagship initiative, Accion Andina, is co-led with the Peruvian organization ECOAN and works to protect and restore native high-Andean forests and the water systems they support. The organization states goals of planting 100 million native trees by 2030 and restoring 2.5 million acres of forest by 2045.
