Global Eco Adventures Inc

Global Eco Adventures is a South Carolina nonprofit that builds awareness of environmental sustainability through education about protected areas and fragile ecosystems. Its programs include the annual SC7 Expedition, a 30-day trek across South Carolina along the Palmetto Trail; PowerPlant SC, a statewide tree-planting initiative; the Smart Reef Initiative with Coastal Carolina University, deploying artificial reef structures and instruments off the South Carolina coast; and the GEA Adventure Club, free hiking and kayaking programs for adolescents at state parks. It also runs educational expeditions to environmentally sensitive places abroad.
