Gills Creek Watershed Association protects the Gills Creek watershed in Columbia, South Carolina through conservation, advocacy, restoration, and education. It leads stream restoration and flood mitigation work across the 47,000-acre basin and runs volunteer programs including Adopt a Stream water quality monitoring, waterway cleanups, invasive plant removal, and native plantings. The association operates with one full-time employee and has served the watershed for more than 25 years.
