GeoGrove is a 501(c)(3) that restores forests in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania by planting native canopy trees, understory shrubs, and groundcover together to accelerate the ecological interactions that normally take decades to form. It uses fungal inoculants and nurse logs to establish mycorrhizal networks, and commits each site to a five-year Warden Plan of quarterly health checks, invasive removal, thinning, and wildlife monitoring until the planting is self-sustaining. Planting days are run with schools, universities, community groups, corporate teams, and faith organizations, and donors receive GPS coordinates and growth updates for the trees they fund.
