Gardening Volunteers Of South Texas

Gardening Volunteers of South Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2002 in San Antonio that works as an educational resource on landscaping, gardening, and water conservation. It offers monthly gardening classes and landscape design seminars, plant sales, garden tours, and neighborhood landscape fairs focused on water-saving techniques, and produces a monthly show called Go Gardening. Its service projects and partnerships include work at Brooke Army Medical Center and collaborations with the San Antonio Water System and the Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District.
