Future Fund Inc

Future Fund Land Trust, operating as Future Fund, Inc., was founded in 1993 by Dr. Stephen L. Henry to buy and manage land protecting the Floyds Fork watershed in Jefferson County, Kentucky. It organizes its work around protecting water quality and natural habitat, preserving land through purchase and stewardship for conservation, agriculture, and historic preservation, and engaging the community. The trust says it is the only entity buying land to protect the Floyds Fork watershed, owns over 4,000 acres toward a 10,000 acre conservation overlay, and partners with Metro Louisville, The Parklands of Floyds Fork, and 21st Century Parks.
