Friends Of Western Promenade

Friends of Western Promenade is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of Portland, Maine's historic Western Promenade for public benefit. It advocates for the park, educates the community about its history and significance, and raises funds for capital improvements. Working with the City of Portland, the group completed a comprehensive landscape master plan for the Promenade in June 2020 and uses it to guide park projects.
