Friends Of Waubesa Wetlands Inc

Friends of Waubesa Wetlands, founded in 2018, cares for the Waubesa Wetlands at the mouth of Lake Waubesa in Dane County, Wisconsin, a wetland recognized as one of the state's wetland gems. The group works to protect a uniquely diverse wetland community so its habitat and benefits are sustained for years to come. Volunteers cut brush, pull and spray invasive species, collect seeds, monitor rare species and prepare fire breaks, alongside environmental education and recreation programming.
