Friends Of The Wissahickon Inc

Friends of the Wissahickon is a Philadelphia nonprofit whose mission is to conserve the natural beauty and wildness of the Wissahickon Valley and stimulate public interest in it. Through member and volunteer support it helps maintain the roughly 2,000 acre Wissahickon Valley Park, running volunteer service days and habitat monitoring, and supporting recreation there including hiking, biking, and fishing. It also hosts community events such as the annual Wissahickon Trail Classic.
