Friends Of The Rouge

Friends of the Rouge is a 501(c)(3) founded in 1986 and based in Plymouth, Michigan, with a mission of restoring, protecting, and enhancing the Rouge River watershed through stewardship, education, and collaboration. It restores water quality and wildlife habitat, collects data on watershed health, runs education programs, and advocates for environmental protection across the watershed's 47 southeast Michigan municipalities. It also organizes recreational access to the river through activities such as kayaking and hiking.
