Friends Of The Rappahannock Inc

Friends of the Rappahannock is a grassroots 501(c)(3) founded in 1985 that calls itself the voice and active force for a healthy and scenic Rappahannock River. It works across the river's watershed, from the headwaters at Chester Gap to the confluence with the Chesapeake, through three program areas: advocacy, restoration and education. Restoration work includes tree planting, oyster restoration, living shorelines and green infrastructure, and the group is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia with satellite offices in Culpeper and Tappahannock.
