Friends Of The Rail Park

Friends of the Rail Park is the Philadelphia nonprofit stewarding The Rail Park, a planned three mile linear park and pathway built on historic rail infrastructure running through more than ten neighborhoods. Its three sections, the Viaduct, the Cut and the Tunnel, are intended to stretch from Northern Liberties to Fairmount Park. Phase One, an elevated quarter mile at North Broad and Noble Streets, is open daily and free, and the organization runs public programming, community engagement and park upkeep alongside future phases of development.
